Jorge Caiado

Jorge Caiado is the head of Carpet and one of the defining figures of Portugal’s underground electronic scene. For over two decades, his work as a DJ, producer, curator, and label manager has helped shape Lisbon’s musical identity while earning recognition across the international circuit, with performances at iconic clubs such as Tresor, Panorama Bar, and Smartbar. Deeply involved in the growth of the local community, Jorge has also supported countless artists through record distribution, mentorship, and his long-running radio show Uma Espécie de Azul.
